Tornado Rips Thru Revere North of Boston

A tornado rip thru a north of Boston in Revere on Monday causing much damage including ripping the roofs off the top of buildings.
Luckily there were no reports of injuries in the little coastal area of 53,000 residents.
“Given the magnitude of the storm, it’s really a miracle that no one sustained more serious injuries,” said Revere Mayor Dan Rizzo.

Sepia at Ink Block Sixty Percent Sold Out

60% of the 83-unit Sepia at Ink Block project on the former site of the Boston Herald is sold.The Herald moved to new office space in the Seaport District.
“When we decided to build 83 luxury condos there, everyone was asking why we would do that in this part of the South End,” said Ted Tye, managing partner of Newton-based developer National Development, at Sepia’s groundbreaking yesterday. “Now they’re asking us to build more condos.”

The $34 million, 110,000 square foot building is aimed at attracting and retaining more top talent. The new building contains all the latest in technology and conveniences. The Holland Company has filed plans with the Boston Redevelopment Authority to convert a four story warehouse at 46 Wareham Street into a six story, mixed use development that would include 9,400 square feet of ground floor retail. The mix of units would include 23 one bedrooms with approximately 780 square feet of space, 17 two bedrooms with about 1,162 square feet and two three bedrooms with about 1,500 square


The developers of the One Greenway condominium and apartment project in Boston’s Chinatown neighborhood reports that they have secured $3.9 million from the state in support the 51 unit South Building. The grant will be used to fund the construction of the $20 million South Building.
The $170 million One Greenway project will include 363 residential units in two different buildings that occupy roughly a half acre of open space. The 312 unit North Building will include 217 market rate apartments and 95 affordable rentals. The

Well, house flipping is back and bigger than ever. No more amateurs on the scene like before, today it’s professional investors grabbing up all the houses and properties and driving up prices.
Redfin has reported that Los Angeles had the highest number of flips in 2013 and 2014, so far. The houses being flipped arn’t just little shacks in run down neighborhoods either. AYSO was established as a soccer organization in West Torrance at Jefferson Middle School in 1964 with nine teams. Today, children on some 50,000 teams  participate in soccer organized by the non-profit. 
The National games were the largest ever with some 7,000 on kids on 500 teams coming into the South Bay  for the tournament. Riverside, also helped host.
